A unique body weight-based workout that targets your core like no other! This class utilizes straps with handles and foot cradles to leverage body weight against gravity, targeting and toning all major muscle groups.

Torch calories and improve core strength and stability with us in this group fitness class.

Please wear comfortable, flexible clothing to each class.

Adulting 101: For the Love of Money

Intermediate Programming with Python

Join experienced Python instructor Dean Greer as he takes you beyond the basics of Python.

In this next phase, you'll build upon the fundamentals with topics like data structures, intermediate control structures, how to practice coding effectively, and module importation.

Problem solving using previously learned fundamentals will be emphasized in addition to further instruction material.

The typical prerequisite for this course is “Programming Basics Using Python,” but those with adequate experience, should feel free to sign up.

Students will need either a PC or Mac desktop or laptop computer (no Chrome Books) and a reliable internet connection.

You must be 18 years or older to enroll in this course.

Intro to Creative Writing

In this course students will learn the basics in fiction, memoir and poetry.

The class will vary depending on the even and odd weeks. Each class onthe odd weeks (weeks 1, 3, and 5) will consist of writing prompts,introspective dialogue based on the curriculum, readings of exampletext, open discussions of the topic and text, and a writing assignment.

Students will be asked to work on assignments between classes. Duringthe even weeks (weeks 2, 4, and 6) students will learn the art of givingand receiving feedback by sharing their work and participating in groupworkshop.

Scholarships can go a long way in helping students cover college costs, but being successful in the scholarship application process can take some work.

In this session you’ll learn to build and work your own scholarship application plan. You’ll also learn about and try out different scholarship websites, learn how to best use a scholarship information tracker, and learn to avoid some of the challenges of the scholarship process.

Students and parents interested in learning about the scholarship process can join Jessica Whittier, College Access Counselor with the Finance Authority of Maine for this 1-hour workshop as we talk scholarships.

A Writer’s Workshop

Adulting 102: Money Grows
